Nanpakal Nerathu ChatGPT!
A Mid-day Slumber with ChatGPT
Let me confess. I do not slumber in midday. Neither in the late afternoon. I just said this to keep the connection with the header and subheader. Yes, so far I am just doing justice to it. If you have decided to continue reading the remaining text, everything else is on your way here; I know you will “judge” me with such a capital punitive action in mind. That’s ok, I don’t have a choice. Do I? :)
As a digital enthusiast, I have been chatting with Generative Pretrained Transformer since last mid-December. And I have enjoyed blinking black cursor, (vertical bar, or pipe bar) and continuing my chat.
Connecting to the header again, especially to my Indian readers (if any!) let me confess again. I don’t go to the theatre to watch a movie. There’s no single particular reason for it. So be it. So I have asked; rather chatted this late afternoon with ChatGPT to say about the movie: “Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam”. As per their claim Chatting with AI systems is more natural and safe to interact. It understood my question and replied immediately, thinking I was in a hurry to watch the movie.
First, it told me, and to my surprise, See the screenshot below:
So as a friendly user of user-friendly ChatGPT, I have asked two separate questions again one mentioning the name of the lead actor in the movie and the other with the director’s name. I got the answers below:
To be honest, I planned to read the review or opinions of ChatGPT about the movie, and plan a trip to watch the movie in the nearest theatre. Now I don’t have to. Because there’s no such movie exists. So what’s next?
Why I have decided to ask ChatGPT about the movie? As you are aware there’s an army of movie reviewers online but all of them have their special interests and I don’t think I will get an honest review. Thinking ChatGPT will provide a clear and concise review with its artificial intelligence-biased version made me write this. Now I am not here to prove this movie exists or not.
But, hey you know we exist! Or else, Let me ask ChatGPT. I am sure with deep learning and well-trained input/output supervised model on appropriate responses to prompts and instructions will soon make me watch “Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam”. :)
